This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, global manufacturer as a Quality Supervisor with HACCP background to lead a small team of quality professionals. The Quality Supervisor will oversee the site's quality system and will be responsible for the following tasks:
Candidates should be able to communicate at all levels and, when needed, work in a “hands on” capacity. Candidates should have excellent problem solving skills, be able to lead by example and work well in team oriented environments. Medical benefits are available day one of employment. REQUIREMENTS for the Quality Supervisor:
1. A bachelor’s degree is highly preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
2. At least 2-3 years in a similar quality leadership role
3. Experience overseeing quality in HACCP regulated environments
4. Working knowledge of HACCP processes
5. Experience overseeing quality control functions (examples: auditing, non-conformances, root cause analysis, countermeasures, etc.)
6. Supervision of others
7. Microsoft Office
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Six Sigma or Lean methodologies
2. Quality lab management
3. Customer communication
