Assistant Wide Format Print Operator
Pay: $18.00 $20.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Wide Format Print Operator to support our production team. This role focuses on assisting with the operation of wide format printing equipment, ensuring quality output, and maintaining efficient workflows. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced printing technology in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in operating and maintaining wide format printing equipment, including EFI machinery
Prepare and process digital files for print, ensuring proper formatting and accuracy
Support prepress tasks including file setup, proofing, and color adjustments
Perform quality checks to ensure print consistency and accuracy
Help troubleshoot basic equipment or material issues
Assist with loading materials and handling large-format media
Support team members to meet production deadlines
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Experience
Experience in a production, manufacturing, or printing environment preferred
Familiarity with color correction tools and print file preparation
Basic understanding of prepress processes and color management
Exposure to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for file handling (not design-focused)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Forklift experience is a plus but not required
