Job description:
This is a very long-term client I have worked with since their founding 28 years ago. They design and build custom biotech processing capital equipment. This is the most high-tech and sophisticated equipment I have seen in my 30+ years as a manufacturing Recuriter.
We are looking to replace our manufacturing engineer. who is retiring after 20 years with the company.
The successful candidate must have:
Manufacturing engineering experience in low-volume electromechanical assembly of equipment or systems that involve controls or software for controls. Robots, automated equipment, or even motors or large complex systems are good examples.
CAD knowledge, will be reviewing designs with the development team, and also to design fixtures and tooling.
ERP familiarity
Able to interface and communicate with all departments and our customers.
A BS in Engineering is strongly preferred, but we may consider non-degreed engineers with the right blend of experience.
This position is the key person in the company to plan all processes related to our products, key person to interface with development, purchasing, operations, and inventory.
