Project Manager – Engineering & Design

Hybrid (On-Site During Initial Training) | Full-Time | $100,000–$120,000

We're hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead project teams from proposal through completion, keeping schedules, budgets, and client relationships on track. This role starts on-site for initial training, then transitions to a hybrid schedule of about two days per week in the office. Please note relocation assistance is not offered.

Must-Haves

  • Significant design or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a vocational-technical degree
  • General understanding of mechanical systems (plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, temperature controls) or electrical systems (distribution, lighting, special systems), depending on discipline
  • Understanding of applicable building codes
  • Proficiency in Revit and other computer/CAD tools to manage projects
  • Strong communication, leadership, planning, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and project teams simultaneously
  • Willingness and ability to obtain a PE license within an agreed-upon timeframe after joining (active PE license not required at time of hire)

What You'll Do
As Project Manager, you'll oversee assigned projects from proposal through completion, ensuring each one meets contractual requirements, stays on budget, and is delivered on schedule. You'll develop project task lists, assign work and budgets to team members, review technical output for accuracy, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project and afterward. You'll also participate in proposal preparation, client presentations, and contract development, while mentoring team members and promoting strong communication across departments.

What We're Looking For
Someone who is capable and experienced, with the maturity and professionalism to manage client relationships and the technical judgment to keep projects on track. Extensive Revit experience is preferred, but strong working proficiency is enough to be considered.
